Stop The Canadian Seal Hunt

The annual slaughter of hundreds of thousands of baby harp seals on the ice floes off Canada’s Atlantic coast is the largest commercial hunt of marine mammals in the world. Each year these creatures enter the world and just days or weeks later are clubbed or shot to death. Almost all of these seals are babies, some as young as 12 days old, not even old enough to have taken their first swim, and are unable to escape. Congress can call on the Canadian government to stop this cruel commercial seal hunt, by passing S. Res. 118 and H. Res. 427. I mean how could you kill them. I mean sure their fur is nice but still.
